My Arms are Open

This Christian blog is for women who have miscarried very early in their pregnancy. I hope the scriptures bless you like they blessed me.

Videos

I love every song I post on my blog. However, some videos have pictures I don't love. They're not bad, but I would have looked for better pictures if I had made the video. Yet, I still post the videos because they are the only videos I can find for songs I know and love.

Resources

The scriptures on my blogs were all copied from BibleGateway.com.

6 weeks

It's been six weeks since I lost the baby. I'm going to begin sharing all the scriptures I have read to get me through this healing process on the blog.

However, you need to know this.

First, faith comes from God's word. If you are weak, read the bible. If your sad, read the bible. If your worried, read the bible. God will speak to you through his word. Do not be fearful.

Second, don't go looking for answers on the Internet. Answers to YOUR problems are not going to be found on the Internet or looking at other people's stories. God has written his very own story for you.

Third, get a prayer team. Have a group of people who are praying for you and call them whenever you need someone. There will be times when you just need to cry, talk, or maybe even laugh. Also, know that I am praying for you too.

Overall, I just wanted to share scriptures that comforted and continue to comfort me.

Love, Kim

I'm pregnant!

For years I imagined what it would be like to announce I was pregnant. However, I didn't follow any of my plans. I was too excited. First, my husband was suppose to find out. Second, my mom was suppose to find out before my Aunt Cindy. So, who found out first? My aunt! Then, I told me mom. After I told my mom, I called my husband. So, I hope to get it right next time.

Later that night, we told Jamie's parents. They were excited, but sleepy!

A Heartbeat!

I knew I had a low progesterone level, but once I saw the heartbeat all my fears disappeared! I knew this baby was going to make it, and I couldn't wait to begin telling the world.

January 2, 2009

On this day, I found out my baby passed away shortly after the last ultrasound. I couldn't stop shaking that day. I just didn't understand.

I ended up having a D & C four hours later. Everyone at the hospital was wonderful. That night, I was still in shock. My baby was truly gone. "My baby!" I wanted "my baby" back.

But really, the baby is "God's baby!"

Overall, I know God has a plan for my life. I trust Him with all my heart.                   My arms are open!
