Things I've Been Using

Don't be surprised if I delete this post later, but I thought I would share a few more things I've been doing differently.

This tea is yummy....with a tablespoon of sugar - yes, a tablespoon!
Everything I have read about this seems pretty convincing!

So, that's what's new! We'll see if it works!

Two New Books

Well, I've decided it is time to do something different, so I bought some books.

This book has many research based facts, so I've found it very interesting!

I really like this book. I took an assessment and determined that I am a "tired" person. Therefore, it told me what I needed to eat, vitamins to take, and many other helpful tips.

So, that's the latest news!!!

Overall, God's in control! He's soooo good to me!

That's my King,
Kim

Prayer Request

The devil has tried to hit me where it hurts - my music!

I love my music! My Christian songs restore me....to and from work! A couple of weeks ago my CD player in my car stopped working! I'm miserable! I love my MUSIC!!

So, pray I can get it fixed at a cheap price, or just pray for a miracle for my CD player.

Do you know anyone getting married?

I was married ten years ago, but if I had it to do all over again, this is the song I would choose. It's so sweet. I've been blaring it from my speakers for the last few years!!!

My Ministry?

I'm still not sure what ministry God has for me when I grow up. :)

However, I know that right now I enjoy loving on people who need me who are dealing with losing a baby. I think for this season this is my ministry.

So this last week, I posted my blog on Kelly's blog because she asked us to share our ministry through her "Show Us Your Life" blog she posts each Friday. This was a big step for me, but I did it after a lot of prayer. Interestingly, I had about 150 views that day! I was shocked! Having a miscarriage ministry right now is hard, but I do hope to have a house full of babies soon. I'm not pregnant yet, but I hope to be soon. God knows the desires of my heart!

That's my King,
Kim

"You're Not Shaken" ~ Phil Stacey
*This song reminds me a lot of how I felt after the first miscarriage.

Two Miscarriages

I have not experienced the pain and suffering of many who have gone through things that are far worse than two miscarriages. I can't imagine how bad the pain and sorrow is for those who have struggled more than me. So, I want you to know I'm praying for you!

For me, this blog is a journal of scriptures and songs that have helped me when I've been sad. I haven't shared this blog with many, so this is a big step for me!

My bible study group is reading Lies Women Believe: and the Truth that Sets Them Free.

One of the lies is that "God is Not Really Good. If He Were, He Would..."

It's hard to imagine that ALL things are done for God's good, but that's the truth - plain and simple.

No matter what you are going through. God means it for His good!

Psalm 119:68 (New Living Translation)

68 You are good and do only good;
teach me your decrees.

Romans 8:28-39 (New Living Translation)

28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Romans 8:38-39 (New Living Translation)

38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

No matter what you are going through, I want you to know that God is Good all the time and nothing can separate you from his love!

That's My King,
Kim

I'm absolutely in love with the song I'm posting today! It's my message to you!

One Year Later...

I can't believe I began this blog one year ago today on Valentine's Day! Happy Anniversary, My Arms are Open!

This anniversary meets me at a time of frustration and new understanding. I've been upset lately because I'm tired of all the negative pregnancy tests. I know I shouldn't take them, but I'm a very impatient person! I just want to know - six or five days in advance! My..My! My bank account doesn't like it either!

New Understanding: My mom reminded me this weekend that God is a "jealous" God. If I want a baby more than I want Him, that will make Him jealous! So, I'm so glad she put my perception into perspective. Once again, my arms are open to God's plan - not mine!

Exodus 34:14 (New King James Version)

14 (for you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God),

That's My King,

Kim

"How He Loves" ~ David Crowder
* I've had this song downloaded for a few months, but it didn't phase me that the song referred to "me" as a tree, which I find interesting because I've been looking up verses about that for the last two years - interesting! How did I not notice that?!?!

Praying for Haiti

This song was written for the people of Haiti. It's so inspiring, and sweetly touched my heart.
"Are You Listening" ~ Kirk Franklin and Friends

I pray God completely renews the country of Haiti. So many Christians have been there for mission work, and it's time to for their prayers to be answered. It's time for this country to know God like never before.

Psalm 60:2 (New King James Version)

2 You have made the earth tremble;
You have broken it;
Heal its breaches, for it is shaking.

God's going to do great things! He loves us ALL!

That's my King!

Worship

Colossians 3:16 (New International Version)

16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

I love worship music, and I love to worship Jesus! It's through worship that I feel God's presence in my life.

My Arms are Open

This song is my anthem for 2010!!!

"Arms Open Wide" ~ Hillsong United

Misty Edwards has a sweet song called "Arms Wide Open" that is very sweet and speaks powerful words to new and renewed believers.

UPDATE: I'm still trying. This road is hard, but I know that I will have a baby in God's time.

Also, here's a great verse I found about trees!

Job 14:7-9

7 "At least there is hope for a tree:
If it is cut down, it will sprout again,
and its new shoots will not fail.

8 Its roots may grow old in the ground
and its stump die in the soil,

9 yet at the scent of water it will bud
and put forth shoots like a plant.

That's me, That's me, That's me!!! Oh Lord, let it be ME!

Furthermore, it was a year ago today that I lost my baby, and God blessed me by leading me to the song above, which I still can't believe I didn't find earlier!

I love it when God blesses me like a fresh spring shower. It feels so good to know that He is right here by me and will NEVER leave my side.

That's My King,
Kim
